GIGC

GIGC’s patented burner technology can revolutionise your flame treatment processes

Whether you are preheating, postheating, flame straightening, hot forming or flame hardening, you want to be sure you are using the appropriate gas and burner technology. Ideally one that will guarantee superior quality, while saving on production costs.

LINDOFLAMM® – a bespoke flame heating solution that will enable you to optimise your heating processes
Precision manufacturing processes call for special flame heating solutions that optimise productivity and efficiencies. The use of standard, off-the-shelf burners is often an unsatisfactory compromise.

GIGC’s pioneering LINDOFLAMM ® flame solutions delivers these requirements, utilising special burners whose shapes and capacities are uniquely tailored to your fabrication requirements and are matched with the right fuel gas mixture.

Speed up your heat treatment processes with LINDOFLAMM® special burners
This innovative burner technology exclusive to GIGC is making use of the ideal heat delivery properties of acetylene (C 2 H 2 ). Exploiting the increased heat intensity/acetylene temperature that this fuel gas provides, LINDOFLAMM ® enables our customers to dramatically reduce their heating process time.

LINDOFLAMM ® burners are flexible in application, from manually guided torches to a full mechanised solution that is designed and built specifically to meet the flame heating demands of automated manufacturing.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Lowest processing costs: Economical gas use
  • Highest productivity: Optimum heat transfer
  • Possibility of mechanisation

Precise and safe: the LINDOFLAMM® special burner technology
This GIGC burner innovation uses injector technology which creates a venturi effect to mix the two gases, compressed air or oxygen and acetylene. By passing the incoming compressed air or oxygen through a restriction, the exact amount of the acetylene is constantly drawn into the air flow.

Because it uses compressed air, it is inherently much safer than traditional burner systems. When acetylene is used with oxygen, it can achieve high temperatures over a short time period. Whereas with compressed air, temperatures are mild yet intense, with a high degree of safety against back-firing.
